Collaborative Projects

The Center has developed an initial set of 8 Collaborative Projects between the Center faculty and external investigators. Each Collaborative Project critically depends on the use of the Center’s unique technologies and expertise and could not be realized without them. Collaborative Projects will utilize the Center’s technologies that are not fully developed. In some cases, the project will support the technology development through its independent use in research, while in other cases the collaboration will be extending the application of the technology into an entirely new area, in a way that involves scientific and technical challenges. In both cases, the collaboration will be pursued as a “push-pull” relationship that will benefit the Center by probing, improving, validating or extending the technology. The external collaborator would benefit from getting early access to an advanced technology and the Center’s expertise. All Collaborative Projects have clear push-pull relationships with one or more TRDs
