Pipette
In laboratory settings it is important to be able to add precise amounts of liquid to your experiment. For this purpose, we have several specialized tools called pipettes. Using a micropipette, you can add very small amounts of liquid, as small as 0.1 uL (1 uL is 1/1,000,000 of a Liter!). With serological pipettes and the accompanying pipette-gun, you can add larger amounts of liquid in a precise way. For example, a common application is adding 2 mL of media to cells kept in a plate.
